Honoring Mike Jerald: Help Us Bring Him Home.

On December 23rd, our beloved brother Mike passed away suddenly while in California. His loss has left our family heartbroken and unprepared for the difficult and costly process of bringing him home to rest where he was born and raised. Mike’s mother is currently in Italy, and her greatest wish is to travel to California to retrieve her son’s remains and say her final goodbye. From there, we hope to bring Mike to the Philippines, where he can be laid to rest in his home country surrounded by family, tradition, and love. We are creating this GoFundMe to help cover the unexpected expenses involved, including: Travel costs for his mother to fly from Italy to California, Arrangements to retrieve and care for Mike’s remains, A memorial service to honor his life, Transportation of his remains to the Philippines. Losing Mike so suddenly has been devastating, and navigating these logistics during our grief has been overwhelming.
