Mike Jaramillo Family Cancer Fund

     One of the best people and fathers I know, Mike Jaramillo, has been diagnosed with stage IV cancer. He is unable to work and they have no insurance, so this wonderful family is rapidly burning through their savings. He is receiving daily chemo and radiation and Mike is struggling to keep even fluids down. 
     Mike and Shawndell and their family are centerpieces of the Idaho wrestling community and serving others. Personally, I and many more people owe them a debt of gratitude as they both volunteered to help me rebuild one of the longest chartered wrestling club in Idaho when it was facing bankruptcy.  Mike has sat in many a corner, coaching helping and officiating while Shawndell and the kids ran tables, year after year.
     Here are Shawndell's own words about her sweetheart. " Mike is a source of encouragement and strength to our family, always knowing just what the boys and I need at just the right moment. He gives his all to his family, never asking anything in return. There was a time when our boys were little that he worked three jobs in order to allow me to stay home with the four of them. Right from the start, he began coaching football, wrestling and T-ball. Mike made sure that he was always at all of the boys' activities, even if it meant he had to work weekends to make up for it. Our sons have learned to be caring young men and our oldest has a learned to be a tender, loving dad to our granddaughter by watching Mike. 
     Mike is a quiet man that has a heart of gold and loves unconditionally, never judging anyone because he knew that you never know exactly what that person might be going through. The last 26 years have been a wonderful journey and I so look forward to growing old with my best friend. I have faith that if anyone can beat stage four cancer it is Mike, he is so strong and positive all the time."
