Mike Huckaby Memorial

Known widely as “Huck," Mike Huckaby was a pivotal scene figure, equally renowned as a D.J., producer, educator and tastemaker who was widely acknowledged as one of the foremost practitioners of "deep house.” Between 1992 and 2005, he worked at the Roseville, Mich., store Record Time as the buyer for the dance room. Mike Huckaby was an unspoken force, the unseen influencer on the music itself in the city.
Michael E. Huckaby passed away on April 24th, 2020, from complications of stroke and COVID-19. He is survived by his mother and brother, who have asked for our support with final expenses. 
All donations will go directly to the family of Mike Huckaby to assist with funeral expenses.

The family will hold a private memorial this Friday, May 8, 2020. A public memorial is being planned for later this summer when large gatherings are allowed again.
