Mike Green's Final Rest Fund

My uncle, Mike Green, recently travelled from Wichita, KS & attended the ManCup Finals In South Georgia. During his visit (and my being shocked at his state of health) I convinced him to go unto the local ER for an existing condition that has taken a turn for the worse.

Mike Green has been airlifted from Colquitt Regional in Moultrie, GA and admitted to UF Shands Hospital In Gainesville, FL due to the extent of his illness and limited maxillary/oncology resources at CRMC. He is undergoing testing & evaluation for a severe mouth infection/obstruction due to a grapefruit sized tumor in his mouth. Mike is very malnourished due to his inability to eat and his living conditions during the past few months. 

I wouldn't normally reach out like this to anyone, most especially an outlet like this. However, having a single parent income, Mike coming from a homeless situation in Wichita, and now the uncertainty of what his future holds.  I hope and pray Mike gets through this visit to Shands.

Once the doctors determine what we're looking at for surgery, treatment options, he will be staying in GA with me till I can help him get better. I'm asking that anyone who can assist with his medical costs, please help. 

Please know that all funds donated will be used solely for his medical expenses that I cannot afford alone. I have reached out to my local area resources for emergency/indigent care aid. This process is slow and may not even be granted because he is from out of state. I have exhausted my own funds in the short time he has been staying with me before he was airlifted to Gainesville.

Anyone that knows Mike knows that he would give the shirt off his back to anyone in need. He is a very proud & would probably be upset if he knew I was reaching out on this platform for help with his medical costs and the road to recovery.

Please at least say a pray for Mike and hopefully he will get through
