MIKE GRANT FAMILY FUN DAY 3/24/2024

Our first fundraising event, the Mike Grant Walk and Family Fun Day, will take place at Passaic’s Boverini Stadium on Sunday, March 24, 2024 from 10 AM – 1 PM.

As part of the event, we are asking for the communities help in providing attending for a fee. $20 per adult and $5 per child under 12 or making a donation.

Mike Grant is a devoted husband, father of three amazing boys, Passaic teacher, and coach. Mike has selflessly molded and mentored many students in the Passaic district and had a lasting effect on them and us.

In May of 2023, Mike and his family were confronted with an advanced diagnosis of pancreatic cancer. Since June, Mike has been ongoing treatment locally, but now faces a battle that requires immediate and extensive treatment out of state. Facing this difficult challenge, the Grants are not only navigating the emotional turmoil, but are also shouldering the weight of substantial financial strains. The costs associated with specialized medical care, travel, lodging, and other unforeseen expenses are staggering.

Mike and Carla (Mike’s wife) have been overwhelmed by everyone's generosity to date and were reluctant to accept any gift. As friends, family colleagues and the generous Passaic community, we can make an impact on this family's journey.

Your generosity can help alleviate the burden that comes with medical bills and the logistical challenges of seeking treatment away from home.
