Mike Got Robbed Again

Hey everybody,

I usually don’t do this but I’ve been robbed so many times at this point that I’m not sure what else to do. Around 9am today in broad daylight my car was broken into. I had packed it with thousands of dollars of production materials that I had collected over the years (big bins of quality costumes, one of a kind hand-made items, lighting and camera equipment, older laptops, etc.) to bring to storage. Ive spent a great deal of my earnings over my years in LA accumulating production materials for the various projects I help to create so that we can make these works of art, predominantly queer works of art, independently and without the need of corporations. This work means everything to me. I hope to eventually create a communal production space where all of these items would have lived so that other queer people could use them too. This, compounded by the loss of my 2017 car, has left me at great financial loss. I’m really sorry to burden your feed with it. Thank you. Love you all.
