The daughters of Michael "Mike" Gonzales are raising funds in honor of our late father in order to create a Mike Gonzales Memorial Scholarship for local students who pursue college degrees in agriculture, horticulture, botany, animal husbandry, or environmental science. Our goal is to raise $10,000-$20,000 to create an endowment that will allow for a $500-$1000 scholarship to be distributed each year in perpetuity. We are working with, and hope to offer the scholarship through, the Westlake Village Garden Club in the future, after which time future donations will become tax deductible.
