As most have heard by now Mike had to undergo emergency brain surgery. Which resulted in a double craniotomy.  He underwent 2 emergency brain surgeries and an emergency sinus surgery May 2nd & May 3rd 2021. At that point the doctors and nurses were unsure what the outcome would be for Mike due to the devastating neurological damage. He had an extremely large infection on his brain. The doctors have determined as of now that the brain damage Mike suffered is just too much and he has no neurological responses. The doctors have now informed us there is nothing more they can do and that they have tried everything.  He is dependent on the vent to live and no longer has any quality of life left. Due to legal complications we are currently fighting, we are waiting for the date that they will be removing Mike from the vent to allow him to peacefully pass on.  Everybody who knows and loves Mike knows of his extensive history with his health conditions and how hard he has fought this fight. Mike would not want to be left to live in a vegetative state in a nursing home to live out the rest of his life. He loved his children fiercely and loved his work just as hard. We are raising money to help lay Mike to rest properly and any money left over will go towards helping care for his children Emily and Michael. We don't want to have to burden or worry his children or family financially.  Mike has been a single parent for most of his life and raised his children to become wonderful kids . Mike has been there to help anyone and everyone so let's return the favor and help lay him to rest peacefully .
