UPDATE

My assistant Mike is still in the Cleveland Clinic on life supporting devices.

Last Thursday he was put on continual dialysis as his kidneys are not working well enough on their own.

He was removed from the ECMO device, cleans the blood.

They have tried to remove the vent but he is not able to breath on his own.

At this time they want to install a L-VAD device, this acts as a pump for the heart and requires external power source.

Until he can be able to be operated on it all has to wait.

It is unknown how long he will be in this condition and any recovery could take many months or years.
