Hello, for those who don't know me, I have been friends with Mike since the early 2000s. We met at college, both of us working at restaurants, and what ensued over the next 20 years is a blur of amazing memories, including the ones we don't remember. We worked together at BWW and JL Beers, lived together in Minneapolis, and Mike was one of the best friends I have ever had.

It was hard to find solo and appropriate photos with Mike because he was always around so many people who loved being around him. He had a magnetic personality, and everyone knew Mike.

Mike tragically passed on 9/17/25 from an aortic aneurysm in his home in Burnsville. When he did not show up for work, his team knew something must be wrong. Mike was so passionate about his job, his staff, and JL Beers, only rivaled by his love of his family.

We have started this for 2 reasons: 1.) To help his mother Dolly & the family cover funeral expenses and 2.) What is left over, if there is any, to do something (TBD, I will let the family decide) to honor Mike and his legacy of family, friends, and fun.

If you are in a place where you can afford to help with this burden and help spread Mike's memories past his untimely death, it is much appreciated.
