Mike, our step-dad, is recovering from Covid, which he must have caught at a routine medical appointment.

Against all odds, he survived the ordeal after months in critical care and multiple surgeries. Sadly, he lost his leg in the process due to blood clots caused by covid.

Mike is a veteran but 2 hours away from any Vet facility for rehab and check-ups and has a very long road to recovery.

We need some help if you can see fit to support him to provide him with a prosthetic leg so that he can get to somewhat of a normal life one day. Unfortunately, quality prosthetics are not covered by insurance and are very expensive.
