On May 25 Mike was admitted to WakeMed after a life-threatening cardiac event. The following day he was transported to Duke University Medical Center’s Heart Center ICU for continued care. Mike is currently on the heart transplant list and will remain at the Heart Center ICU until the transplant surgery.

We appreciate all of the donations received to this point. The money has gone toward an Airbandb in Durham, gas traveling back and forth to Durham, and many meals eaten at the hospital and on the road.

 As we enter the next phase of this journey the Creech Family will continue to endure costs related to medical bills,travel, and meals on the road. All donations will be put towards the journey of Mike’s new heart.
