Dear JSCA Community,
Many people have been asking how they can help to celebrate Mike Cotter's retirement, and recognize his 37 extraordinary years of service in support of the Jericho Sailing Centre Association.
The Board of Directors and Staff are working to prepare a special parting package to acknowledge his dedication and the wonderful legacy he leaves behind. It includes a mix of memorable keepsakes and also some special "experiences" for Mike to enjoy with his wife, Dale.
Our aspirations are ambitious. Our funds, unfortunately, are modest. Many of you will choose to express your gratitude, each in your own way. But if you’d like to contribute to Mike’s gift package and parting surprise, please take a moment to contribute in this independent GoFundMe campaign.
Don’t be intimidated by GoFundMe’s suggested amount, recommended amounts are between $5-$25. Given the scope of JSCA’s membership, this will go a long way in helping to arrange something truly meaningful.
Should the funding target be surpassed, all surplus contributions would be donated to the Society’s Jericho Rescue Fund. If you'd like to learn a bit more about some of the special items we have in mind, please feel free to contact Dominique Labrosse, Andrei Bredin or Maya Tatuch at the Jericho Administrative Office.
This campaign is being administered by JSCA member, past president and financial professional Paul Munnis in order to keep the fund separate from JSCA finances as required.
We also encourage you to share any memorable photos or vignettes about Mike, or simply send him your well wishes using this form on our website. These stories will help paint a fuller picture of the many lives Mike has touched—and may be included in upcoming celebrations and keepsakes.
