Hello everyone. Katie here (Mike's wife). As some of you already know, Mike was diagnosed with Cirrhosis on July 5th and is currently awaiting a new liver. He's been unable to work for months which has cut our income in half and has been in the hospital with pneumonia and a staph infection (among other complications) since January 10th. Within the next few days, he will be transferred to the University of Chicago to be with his transplant team. As you can imagine, medical and household bills are piling up fast. As much as we hate asking for help, we've found ourselves in a position where we have no choice. This has been a difficult and heartbreaking journey so far, but Mike is fighting like a champ!
