Mike Chaney and The White Rose
Donation protected
If you’re reading this, then you have most likely been to The White Rose, or know Mike personally. If either of those are the case, you’ve probably noticed an absence on both fronts.
At the beginning of May Mike went to the hospital for an infection in his toe. Since then he has been in and out of the hospital fighting the infection and having multiple surgeries that have resulted in his toe being amputated, with another surgery scheduled for July 8th to further fight the infection.
We know he will be back in that kitchen as soon as it’s physically possible for him. Filling your bellies and putting a smile on everyone’s face is what gets him out of bed each morning. Not being able to be there for you to stir that sauce and make that lasagna is taking a toll on him. He's already handed menus out to the hospital staff. No matter where he is, or what he’s going through, the restaurant is always on the forefront of his mind.
With Mike’s history of medical issues and closing the restaurant to focus on him healing, we have run out of funds and are at risk of losing both the restaurant and Mike’s house. Anything you guys can donate to help keep things operational until he can get back on his feet is greatly appreciated.
