Mike Brandt is a family-oriented man who has raised three beautiful daughters and is married to the love of his life, Melody. Mike has been a self-employed business owner since 1990 when he established Brandt's Painting. Mike carries his passion for the family into his business and helps families transition a house into a home.
During the holidays of 2020, heart-shattering news was delivered to Mike and his family when doctors told him he has Prostate Cancer. The decision was made to proceed with aggressive treatment that includes many CT scans, MRI scans, hormone suppressing injections, and Proton Therapy Radiation.
The holidays were difficult as the burden of cancer hovered over Mike and his family. The unknown cost and time required in a medical facility are unsettling. As a self-employed business owner, Mike continues to work 5 days a week to complete the home renovations for his customers. Doctors recently revealed that the radiation schedule for Proton Therapy requires Mike to receive radiation Monday-Friday for what they hope is 29 sessions. With this aggressive treatment schedule that is necessary, the possibility could arise that Mike will not be able to continue working 5 days a week. All help would be appreciated to assist with the increasing financial burden brought on by his cancer treatment.
All funds raised will be directly used for the medical treatment of Mike's prostate cancer. If you feel it in your heart to donate, the Brandt family thanks you. If you are not able to give a monetary donation, please say a prayer for Mike. Mike is the 'rock' of his family, and his family would not know what to do without him. “Even in the darkest of times, we know that God has a plan, in Him we trust.”
