Mike Blackburn, an avid sailor and lover of all things Chesapeake Bay related, tragically passed away on August 12th.

Mike was the friend everyone wanted to have by their side. Always the optimist and with a friendly greeting no one could ignore, Mike was there to make sure everyone was having a good time and enjoying themselves. Mike and Julie were an active pair in the Annapolis sailing community, living aboard their boat Sea Jules. To say they enjoyed life together is an understatement.

Mike is survived by his loving wife Julie and their children, Dawn, Sarah, Kelly, Chris, Tommy, Courtney, and Chelsea.

We want to alleviate any of the extra burden the mounting medical and funeral arrangement costs may add to the Blackburn family. We appreciate any support you can offer during this time.
