Mike Anderson Benefit

Hi my name is Artie Arndt and I am raising money for a good family friend Mike Anderson.

Mike Anderson is an Ortonville native, son of Kathy (Gregg Madsen), and the late Cliff Anderson. Mike graduated from Ortonville High School in 1988 and served in the U.S. Navy for ten years, including two tours in the Gulf War on the USS Acadia. After being Honorably Discharged from the Navy, Mike worked 5 years with Lockheed Martin Missles and Space on Bangor Submarine Base. Realizing he missed home, he decided to move back to Minnesota, where Mike worked for 14 years at Medtronic. He currently resides in Coon Rapids, Mn with his wife Monica and kids Zach & Lindsey.

In April of 2023, Mike was diagnosed with ampullary cancer. In May Mike had surgery and recently just started cancer treatments and continues his road to recovery.

A benefit supper will be held Saturday October 21, 2023 at the Ortonville VFW from 4-7pm. A pork loin supper will be served for a free will offering. There will also be silent auctions and drawings for many items. If you would like to donate items to the benefit for the silent auction or drawings, please drop them off at Econo Lodge in Ortonville.
