Dear Family and Friends,
It is with very heavy hearts that we announce Melissa Rene Dupré passed away at home on Saturday, January 11th from complications following a courageous battle with cancer. She had been in the hospital since Wednesday December 18th. First, she was at the hospital in Yakima, WA; and then she was eventually transferred to University of Washington Medical Center in Seattle. She was put through an excruciating amount of tests and procedures and was eventually sent home on Thursday January 9th. Her husband, Mike Dupré, stayed by her side and took care of her for the 22 days she was in the hospital. Melissa was about to undergo a very long and harsh treatment and she sadly passed before she could continue her fight. The Dupré family has been through, and are going through a very hard time emotionally, physically, mentally, and financially. They are leaning on friends and family for help in this time of heart break. With that said, If you are able, please donate to this fund to help relieve the financial burden associated with the recent hospital stay and upcoming funeral expenses. The Dupré family has very humbly given me permission to set up this fund. Any and all contributions are greatly appreciated.
