Mike and his family need our help!

One never knows what tomorrow has in store for us. April of 2018 - Mike was experiencing difficulty swallowing, and went into the doctor for a checkup, followed by an endoscopy, which showed a tumor at the junction of the lower esophagus and stomach. Wanting to get it diagnosed, Mike went in to Mass. General for further testing, and was told that he has stage 4 metastatic esophageal cancer. Life as Mike knew it, would never be the same, and the Mamakos family dynamic, instantly changed on that day. Mike began his first round of treatments, and was feeling OK throughout, while continuing to work and bring home a salary. In January of 2019, Mike had brain surgery for the removal of two tumors, followed up by a month in rehab. Since rehad ended, Mike has not been able to work, and the cancer has spread to his spine, liver, brain, and lymph glands. By the end of the first week in April 2019, Mike will have had 30 radiation treatments, and 20 chemo therapy infusions. These treatments and the stress of it all, are more than enough for any human being to bear. Mike has never been a complainer and keeps fighting on a daily basis. The entire medical ordeal has put Mike and the Mamakos family in a huge time of need. PLEASE help by making a donation to the Mamakos family, as every bit will help! Mamo has been a great friend to many, many people, at all junctions of his life, and was never one to ask for anything. Let's all help a friend in need  and start donating today, and spreading the GFM to everyone  you know! Thanks!!!!!!!!!!!!
