Hi, My name is Shelly Valentine. My husband Barry and I are Michael's Godparents. We have known Mike and Barb for 40 years. We met when we purchased our first homes in Poway, CA. We had our first children 9 months apart and have stayed in touch since. Sadly, Mike, Nick and Matt lost both of their parents in the last few months. Picking up the pieces has been very difficult for the boys to navigate while mourning their loss. When Barb passed, Mike was battling cancer, extremley ill and doing the best he could keeping up with bills and expenses. Sadly we discovered there was a lapse in payment on Mikes life insurance policy. Michael has been trying to manage the household expenses as well as funeral expenses for both Mike and Barb.
