Erin's in Broken Paradise

WE LOVE YOU ERIN
On April 17, 2019, at 3:03 PM Hawaii Time, Erin Elizabeth Howard left our physical world.

Her spirit is as strong as ever, and she continues to be the light of Michael's life.

Celebrate her life in the way she celebrated her life. Be present. Be loving. Be strong.

Family, Friends & Others, we are looking for your help. Our loved one, Erin Elizabeth Howard has advanced stage 4 metastatic breast cancer.

Her battle has been ongoing since July 2016, and she and her husband, Michael Howard, have been fighting this battle together for nearly three years.

Michael had continued to work until this passed August, when Erin required near 24 hour care. Michael continued to work when he could, but the burden of medical expenses are severe at this point.

Erin still maintains her contagious, positive spirit but the toll has been great, and she is no longer a candidate for for curative treatment, and is home under hospice care, and Michael is with her nearly every minute of the day.

We are asking for you to donate what you can. 

At the very least, we hope you can share Erin's story with others.

Erin's Broken Paradise
If you are asking why we titled this GoFundMe page the way we have, I will share with you Mike and Erin's story.

Erin loves Hawaii. She and Mike have traveled there a numerous occasions, and we were lucky enough to have traveled with them in September of 2105. On our trip, and after, we all discussed on how we could move there.

In July of 2017, we all got together to help Erin and Mike pack up their life to move to Hawaii. They did it. They made the jump to paradise. They arrived in Oahu in late July and set up house overlooking the tranquil blue waters of the Pacific.

It was a life change. It was a time where they were going to focus inward on the next chapter of their lives. Erin had just left 22 years as an Occupation Therapist, 19 of those years helping children.
