When a child like Mikayla is diagnosed with a sudden illness but especially leukaemia it takes it's toll on a family. The emotional toll is obvious. As friends we feel helpless but we can help with some of the financial burden. The daily trips into hospital,the time off work, the extra child care needs for other children. This time it isn't an anonymous stranger it is our friend and we need to do something to help
