As many know Mikayla Sorenson one of the children tragically killed in the car accident this week in Lynnwood, WA was my baby sister. Mikayla was a beautiful young woman that had a fiercely positive attitude in the face of adversity and loved the world regardless of the pain and suffering she had witnessed. I was there when Mikayla was born and would always turn to my baby sister for strength in times of peril and despair. Mikayla enjoyed the outdoors and had a light hearted approach to life, she would want us to celebrate her life in a positive and uplifting manner. In order to cover expenses for the funeral and all associated costs I am asking you my friends, family, collegues, peers, and simply anyone gracious enough to help my family in this time off desperate need to donate as much as you can. I will personally be taking care of expenses for the funeral arrangements and getting family members into town that may not be able to afford the flights, anything left over I will be putting aside for Mikayla and I's younger sister Mikenzie for school clothes and supplies.
