on august 15th mikayla was taken into the emergency room because of a collapsed lung, and after running some test they also found out she has leukemia so they care flighted her to huntsman cancer hospital in SLC to do further testing and figure out a plan, once she was admitted they also discovered a mass in her chest that is cancerous as well, inoperable but potentially treatable with chemo

on august 16th, they took some bone marrow and placed a central line. So far she is handling everything as well as expected and I will continue to give updates as I receive them.
