March 19th 2018 Mikayla Parsons lost her life due to Mental health issues. She suffered in silence while we all thought she was fine. I want her love for her family and friends to live on forever at Bear Creek High-school where she was attending grade 10 at the time. Mikayla wanted to work in the medical field. She talked about being a doctor or a nurse like her nana.  This year would have been her graduating year. On behalf of Mikayla and our family I’d like to raise money for an award that would go each year for a student graduating from Bear Creek and going into the Health Sciences field.  I’d like it to be called “Mikayla Parsons Dream” award. The person receiving the award each year will be pursuing Mikayla’s dream job.  Her birthday is October 23rd and on that day we would love donations towards the award that will be presented each year to a special student to help them with their schooling.  I’ve edited my post because I’m hoping for $1000 each year. I only wanted to post this once and then divide the amount by 10-15.
