It truly saddens us to share the heartbreaking news of Mikaela Jones' passing.
On Tuesday, April 17, 2018, Mikaela Jones passed away in a tragic accident in La Jolla, California on the day of her 22nd birthday.
Mikaela was a dedicated, loving daughter, sister, granddaughter, girlfriend, and friend. She had a passion for animals and loved fostering and helping animals within the San Diego community.
Many people have been asking what they can do to help the family during this diffuclt time and on behalf of the Jones family, they would like to honor Mikaela by asking people to please help donate to her favorite humane society.
Rancho Coastal Humane Society in Encinitas, California was Mikaela's favorite shelter.
Rancho Coastal Humane Society is dedicated to the rescue and shelter of abandoned companion animals, encouraging adoptions into loving homes, and promoting humane ideals through education and community outreach, which is what Mikaela was all about.
