We as Mikael and Julie's friends are coming to you in their behalf to ask for your kind consideration in helping with a sudden financial burden.
Mikael and Julie's daughter, Leslie, has fought a brave, nearly lifelong battle with obsessive compulsive disorder. She is a very sweet, friendly girl; but the disease has been a cruel master, making her life difficult. Recently she also started struggling with an eating disorder, and eventually it was decided that treatment at a specialized clinic in Nashville was in order. The treatment is very expensive and will take at least eight to ten weeks. CHA will eventually give assistance, but Mikael's will still be left with bills of at least $1000 per week. There are also medical bills from appointments that were required before being admitted to the Nashville clinic. Currently Julie and Leslie are staying at the Ronald McDonald House during the week and making the 4 - 5 hour drive home on the weekends. So of course there are extra living/travel expenses as well.
Mikael and Julie feel humbled at the need for financial assistance, but this simply comes at a bad time for them. They have recently moved to a new congregation, and with starting their lives there, they were unprepared for these bills. May we remember them in prayer. Thank you so very much. May God bless you.
