Firefighter Mika Meyers Memorial Fund

This GoFundMe has been established to rally together as a community and support the family of Firefighter Mika Meyers. Mika was a member of the Albemarle County Fire Rescue family and tragically took his own life, losing his battle with mental health disease on March 29, 2024. He not only leaves his fire family behind, but also his wife, Christin, and an 11-year-old daughter.

His wife and daughter are now facing the daunting task of navigating life without him. The funds raised will go directly towards easing the financial strain they're facing, whether it's covering funeral expenses, helping with day-to-day bills, or providing support for his daughter's future.
