Mik’s funeral & life celebration
Mike Anthony Messina 5/27/1965 - 7/16/2021 - 56 years young.
As many of you know our beloved brethren Mik recently passed on Friday, July 16, 2021. Michael Anthony Messina aka: Mik the Stik was an absolute wonderful, one of a kind human, who touched the lives of everyone around him. He was a beam of light. Mik truly dedicated his life to all of us, his one goal was for everyone to smile , laugh, dance and just have some good fun. Mik accomplished that goal many times over. He did that through his smile , his laugh & his charismatic nature along with his knee wiggling & booty shaking, hot rod rockabilly funky soul music. We all have a unique & special Mik story!! Especially since he never meet a stranger and usually after the initial “hey, hi, howdy” he considered them a friend, a sister or brethren.
We are all devastated by the loss of Mik and quite honestly were not prepared for the high cost of a funeral service. We want to give Mik the memorial he deserves, to honor his memory , celebrate his life and to all say our last goodbyes. We are hoping to raise enough to help with the costs of the memorial service and the celebration of his life gathering, following the services. Quite fortunately we also will be able to have Mik the Stik & Dynonite Dons ashes separately placed in bronze casts where they will then be reunited with big brother Dino in the family burial plot at Crown Hill. All three brothers now together, forever with their parents. We would like to also have a granite memorial bench engraved and placed at the foot of their beloved parents burial plot, so we all can enjoy a place to sit when we come to visit. We ask you to please consider donating any amount to help cover these costs and to give Mike , “Mik the Stik” the send off he deserves.
