I’m coming to you with a heart heavy with love and worry. Mihko, my beloved companion for 15 years, is fading, and I’m doing everything I can to make sure he doesn’t have to leave me just yet. You see, Mihko isn’t just a cat. He was the runt of the litter, the one nobody wanted. But I did. He chose me, and from the moment I held him in my arms, I felt a bond that went beyond words, beyond time.

He’s not just a pet—I believe he was sent to me. It’s as if we’ve always been meant to find each other. And for all these years, I’ve been his protector. I’ve watched him grow, and I’ve taken care of him the best I know how, with all the love I have.

Lately, though, things have been different. Mihko has become more clingy, more vocal, and it breaks my heart to see him eating less, drinking less, and acting out of character. His behavior has changed, and I know deep down something is wrong. I have this gut feeling—this intuition—that I can’t ignore, and it’s telling me that time is running out.

I know I can’t do this alone. The bills and the medical costs are overwhelming, and with everything going on in my life, I’m struggling to make ends meet, let alone afford the tests, lab work, and care Mihko needs. That’s why I’m reaching out to you today, not just to ask for help, but to share the story of Mihko and what he means to me.
