So this is my twin brother, Miguel. We were out here in Hawaii visiting. On his way back to our hotel room, he was assaulted and left for dead behind a dumpster. Confused and beaten, he had the strength to walk 3 blocks to get home to us. It hurts seeing him like this, and if you know him, he’s an amazing person. It happened so suddenly, but insurance can only cover so much. He’s gonna have a long recovery; I’m just glad he’s alive. He will need jaw surgery, cheekbone surgery, and they fractured his C1 vertebra. Any harder, he could’ve died. My twin and I don’t like to ask for anything from anyone, but if you can spare anything to help him, it would mean more than anything. Thank you for hearing me out.
