Miguel Was Disappeared and Tortured in CECOT,Help Us Reunite

Hi, my name is Gloria. I’m a mom of three beautiful girls, and for the past year I’ve been fighting to bring our family back together after my husband, Miguel, was taken from us and disappeared while in U.S. immigration custody.
We later found out that he had been secretly deported — not to Venezuela like his order said — but to CECOT, a mega-prison in El Salvador known for extreme conditions and torture. He was held there for four months, in solitary confinement, with no phone calls, no lawyer, and no way for us to know if he was even alive. It was a nightmare.
Then, on July 18, 2025, we finally got word: Miguel had been transferred back to Venezuela. He survived. And now, for the first time, we have a real chance to see him again.
When Miguel was taken, I was pregnant with our youngest daughter. He’s never held her. This trip would be the first time he meets his firstborn daughter in person, and the first time our daughters get to hug their dad again after everything we’ve been through.
Miguel and I are legally married, and I have filed I-130 petitions and asylum cases for him as part of his road to citizenship. Despite that, the U.S. administration tore our world apart by disappearing him and detaining him in CECOT — separating our family and causing unimaginable pain.
I’m trying to raise $3,500 to cover round-trip flights and a place to stay in Colombia, where Miguel can safely meet us near the border. I’ve been doing everything I can — working, raising the kids, and fighting nonstop to get him justice. But I can’t do this alone.
If you feel moved to help us — even just $5 — you’ll be part of something so meaningful: helping a father meet his daughter for the first time, and helping a family reunite after surviving something no one should ever go through.
Thank you for reading, sharing, and standing with us. It means more than you know.
With love,
Gloria
