Hi my name is miguel santos and my father recently passed away on 12/30/2022 ,one day before his 50th birthday. He leaves behind my mother Ana and six children. Miguel was an amazing husband, father , brother and friend. He worked for over 20 years for a union doing tile however about 7 years ago he became unemployed due to a number of medical conditions including dialysis for the last 5 . Because of his medical conditions my mother was forced to become the sole provider of the family as three of the six children were still underage. On 12/30/31 my mother woke up earlier then normal so she could end work early and make my brother Emmanuel a dinner for his 23rd birthday. His birthday is December 30, my fathers was the 31st and mine is the first of January. We always would celebrate our birthdays together because they were so close . However once she turned on the lights in their bedroom she knew something was not right because he wasn’t answering her like he normally would. She approached him and saw that he had blood coming from his nose , wasn’t breathing and was cold to the touch . She called to my brother and sister who were in the house, then they called 911. They brought him down from the bed and attempted cpr until the first responders got there . The first responders tried their best but at 6:25 am on 12/30/22 he was declared dead. He had passed at some point in his sleep during the night. We will be having a final viewing on 1/13/22 at the high desert funeral chapel from 12-2 pm . We did not expect this to happen especially around the holidays . We did not expect it to be so expensive so anything really does help .
