Miguel Portillo was an all-around beloved soul, son, brother, partner, co-worker, friend, and family member who will forever be in memory and loved by us all. Miguel had a big heart that was filled with so much love and compassion for every living creature that he came across. It is impossible not to reminisce about his sense of humor, loyalty, and integrity that we all witnessed day after day.
Miguel passed away on Saturday, May 6, 2017, surrounded by his family and close friends. Many stood by his side with prayer each day, but we cannot forget the loved ones dear to him. Maria Flores is the wonderful mother of Miguel, at the age of 86 must put her youngest son to rest, who has done a great deal to take care of her while here on earth. Mrs. Flores' only request is to remain close to her son by living in his presence in his home.
Miguel's home is as peaceful as the sound of the rainforest, which is surrounded by many plants and breathtaking views. Miguel's house is also home to his two four-legged children and six flying friends who are unable to live on their own. Gia; a 14-year-old Labra-Bull & Othello; a 2-year-old Blue Nose Pitbull who suffers from neurological trauma still undergoes treatments. Miguel cherised them both and made it his duty to keep up with all their medical needs and/or spoiled them with love and attention.
Miguel has covered his entire funeral cost and did not leave many medical bills unpaid. We would like to fulfill the wishes of his mother and loved ones. Until the probate process is finalized we seek monetary donations to ensure that Mrs. Flores is able to live in her son's California home with minimal worries. Please open your hearts by sharing the link/page with anyone that you know. Any amount given will be appreciated. Thank you for your thoughts and prayers, and may God bless all of you.
