Miguel "Michael" Ramirez

On Thursday, August 17th, our brother Maico passed away. He left this world to join our sister Lupita and our abuelito Silverio. On behalf of our family, we would like to take this opportunity to thank each of you for standing with us during this time of incredible grief.

He was a loving and active uncle to Tannyn and always made sure to celebrate her and let the world know everything she was involved in. He was an attentive son, helping our parents with projects around the house. Maico was the best brother anyone could ask for–he took every opportunity to make fun of us, but was also the first to come to our aid when we needed him. He was a loving partner to Nancy and loved her children as his own. He was the cousin and friend everyone wanted to be around at parties, the forever jokester. Most importantly, when Maico loved you, you knew it because he not only told you–he showed you!

Maico’s passing was unexpected. Though he was under treatment for his medical conditions, he continued living life to the fullest! The loss of a sibling is an unimaginable tragedy, and now the passing of our second sibling has left us with an overwhelming feeling of emptiness and trying to find peace amidst the sadness.

We are humbly coming to our family and friends to ask for support at this time. We would love to give our brother the final celebration he deserves, but we were not prepared for this expense. If you are able, we would greatly appreciate your financial support no matter how big or small.
