On August 31, 2019, Miguel Angel Rodriguez (33) and Ernesto Chapa's (26) lives were tragically taken from their loved ones in San Jose, CA in a car accident. This incident has shattered the hearts and lives of the families that they leave behind. Miguel and Ernesto are our brothers, the ones who brought joy and laughter to our families. Our family lost two family members in the same day, in the same moment.

As Ernesto Chapa's (26) sister my brother was a loving, kind, respectful and the most beautiful soul anyone could ever meet. He always made everyone feel welcomed to our family and was always laughing with a huge smile on his face.
Ernesto Chapa leaves behind my father, my mother, his sister as well as many many family members that loved him so much from Texas, Chicago, New York and California. You were loved by many, many friends, who have shown the family so much love and support.
My cousin A and myself would like to thank everyone that has donated to this GoFundMe account. This is for the mothers of our loved ones for all funeral expenses for Miguel Angel Rodriguez and Ernesto Chapa.

For Miguel, he leaves behind his family and friends who loved him.
M meant the world to Miguel and there was never a dull moment between them. He was always present at first day of schools, school performances, school field trips, never missed her Thursday gymnastic practices, and were always seen together having fun, holding hands. He lived live to the fullest and taught M to do the same.
Miguel touched the lives of so many people. He was kind, creative, had a unique sense of humor, respectful of everyone he met, was passionate about music, and treated his friends like family. It's difficult and almost impossible to put into words how Miguel affected the lives of the people that knew him but seeing the support that the family has received so far, we know that he was loved by everyone he met.
As Miguel's sister, when my niece M was born, I made a promise to myself that I intend to keep. The first time I carried her at the hospital, I promised myself that I would do anything to protect her and that is something that I've always had in my heart. Its heartbreaking to our family to know that my niece is not going to have her daddy anymore, he was the love of her life and a reflection of him.
This GoFundMe will be used for any funeral expenses for both Miguel and Ernesto.
I will keep protecting M and show her the fun life that my brother would have continued to show her if he still had the chance.
