Hi all. My name is Terry, and I'm fundraising for new glasses. I need a new prescription for my eyes, since the glasses I'm wearing now are five years old. I also need FL-41 filter lenses to help with my migraines. The FL-41 lenses are the most important part right now; I can sort of get by at work with the old prescription, but I'm extremely sensitive to light lately and I've been having frequent migraines that cause me to miss shifts.

The cost of ordering new glasses with the FL-41 filters is $150 for two pairs, with different filter strengths for days when my light sensitivity is better or worse. The cost for an eye examination is $140. I've also included shipping charges for the glasses. All told the new prescription and glasses should cost about $350.

Having these glasses would massively improve my life. Lights, particularly fluorescent lights and LEDs, are the second largest trigger of my migraines (The first is weather; can't do much about that). My workplace uses both types of lights extensively, and working in that environment routinely triggers my migraines. Right now I'm using prescription drugs to get through shifts, but they leave me feeling nauseous and dizzy. I want to stop using the medications so frequently.
