Mo Jurgens, or who some may know as Mighty Mo, had her yearly scans recently and unfortunately doctors found an aneurysm in her abdominal aorta that has grown too big and much too fast, requiring plans for an urgent surgery. This will be Mo’s 31st surgery. You read that right. Ironically, Mo is about to turn 31. So for her 31st birthday, please consider donating to help alleviate some of her medical expenses and the financial burden of being out of work due to surgery and recovery time.
Mo is a fighter and she has been through more than most of us have in two lifetimes. Yet, somehow she has the BEST attitude, is hilarious, is an outstanding nurse and babysitter, and is an amazing friend to many.
Mo was born with Loeys Dietz Syndrome, a rare connective tissue disease that allows aneurysms to grow throughout the entire body as well as wreak havoc on the joints and soft tissue. Mo’s mother, Kate Jurgens, wrote a book about their life and healthcare journey called Mo: A Loeys-Dietz Memoir. It’s available on Amazon and is a great way to learn about Mo’s journey and support the Jurgens family.
If you are unable to donate, please keep Mo and her family in your prayers.
Genevieve Freitas (Hayes) is the organizer of this fundraiser. Mo Jurgens is the direct beneficiary of the donations. If you have questions or would like Mo's mailing address, please reach out to Genevieve.
