Hope for Mikah Gering

When Alexis and Jacob Gering went to the hospital November 6th for the birth of their 4th child they had no warning of the journey they were about to embark on. Their son Mikah was rushed into this world via emergency C-section due to the embilical cord being rapped around his neck.  Dispite being past his due date to come into this world, Mikah was born at only 3lbs 12oz.   Low birth weight was only one of the minor issues baby Mikah faced, he had 2 collapsed lungs which took a toll on his heart also.   In the hours following his birth, Mikah was treated at 3 different hospitals where they were told there was nothing they could do.  Finally one doctor at a children's hospital here in Michigan took on the challenge of doing a lung bipass and blood transfusion on this tiny baby.  The family is glad to give God all the praises that Mikah made it through that surgery.  Everyday Mikah continues to show progression and the family continues to ask for prayers for healing.  I am asking that if you are able to donate any amount to help Alexis and Jacob with all of the expenses they are encouring, that would be one less thing they have to worry about at this moment.  Only God can heal Mikah but we can all come together and help out our friends and family when they need it the most.  Please consider making a donation if you are able, and remember no amount goes unappreciated.   Feel free to share this page with others.
