This fund was established to help cover medical expenses for our little miracle McCoy! He has a long journey ahead but we know God has a perfect plan for his life!
McCoy was born at 24 weeks! He spent 127 days in the NICU! Only Mom and Dad were allowed to visit, and separately at that! He was born with amniotic banding affecting all of his extremities! His right eye developed retinopathy of prematurity (ROP) requiring surgery. Since then this has seemed to resolve! He spent only 2 weeks on the ventilator during his NICU stay which is amazing being born that early. He was able to come off oxygen right before coming home! He has since seen the lung Dr’s and they are very pleased with his progress!
Please be praying for our sweet boy and consider donating to his fund as he will be having upcoming surgeries on his hands to correct the deformities caused from amniotic banding. We are so thankful that he appears to have all of the bones in his fingers and will just need to have them separated. The Orthopedic specialist said that when he starts pulling up and getting ready to walk that he will be fitted for a prosthesis for his right lower leg (below the knee)amputation also affected from amniotic banding! Despite all of the struggles we have endured this year we are still giving God praise for blessing us with sweetest and cutest little miracle who is very happy, healthy, and thriving!! This boy is destined for great things!! #mightymccoy #24weeker
