Mighty Mason Mendenhall ‘s Fight

Donation protected
David and Jaylin Mendenhall along with their 3 boys have been fighting the cancer journey for the past 17 months. Their youngest son Mason was diagnosed with Stage 4 High Risk Neuroblastoma when he was 17 months old. Since then he has undergone intense treatment (6 rounds of chemo, 2 High Dose Chemo/stem cell rescue, radiation and immunotherapy.) All scans seemed to indicate he was experiencing incredible results from the treatments! He received his final treatment in the middle of October. The whole family was looking forward to a normal hospital free life.

On October 30th 2018 as the result of a massive bleed on his brain Mason suffered a stroke. Unfortunately some cancer cells had found refuge in his brain. The cancer was determined to be the cause of the bleed as well as another blood clot/tumour in the back of his brain, which is being removed December 4th.

After tumour removal he will undergo 3-4 months of Intense cancer treatment in Edmonton. After which he and all his family will be heading to Columbus, Ohio for about 4 months, where he has been accepted into a medical trial.

The stroke has caused paralysis on the left side of his body. This has brought a whole new stress to every day life for Mason and his family. Any donations would be a great blessing and relieve much stress to the family as they travel to and live in Ohio and continue to fight for Mason. Thank you for your support.
