We’re reaching out to support one of our Waldorf families. Many of you and your children know Luna (1 grade) and Elyseah (6/7 grade). Recently, their family’s cat, Mo, was hit by a car. With swift care and Mo’s own quiet resilience, he is now on the path to recovery. The unexpected veterinary costs, however, have placed a heavy strain on the family.
Their mother, Ms. Holly, serves as a teaching assistant in our Peach Blossom Early Childhood classroom, where she brings steadiness and warmth to our youngest learners each day. Now, it’s our turn to provide her and her family in the same warmth and support she so generously gives to our children.
Many of our children (and ourselves) understand how special animal friends can be. Mo is an important part of Luna and Elyseah’s daily life, who listens to their stories, cuddles during reading time, and always runs to greet them. Helping Mo is one meaningful way we can support the girls through a challenging time.
Why We’re Raising Funds
Mo needed emergency medical care, medication, and may require additional follow‑up visits. While he is healing well (sending his soft purrs of thanks), the expenses have accumulated quickly.
In supporting this family, we can also show our children that resilience is not about never falling, it is about rising with courage, rooted in connection, strengthened by kindness, and carried forward when we lift one another.
Any contribution would help ease the financial burden and allow the family to focus on Mo’s recovery.
How You Can Help
If you are able, please consider donating or sharing this fundraiser. Our community is strongest when we support one another, and this is a chance to help a family that has given so much to the heart of our school.
We ask for support so this family can continue forward with resilience and care.
Thank you for holding Mo, and this family, in your thoughts.
