Mighty Cooper's Heart Journey

If you've ever spent any amount of time with Amanda and Mike, you know how much they love their kids and adore the family life they have built. Unfortunately for the them, that life is about to look very different as they prepare to welcome their third baby, Cooper, to the world later this July.

On April 16th, Amanda and Mike got confirmation that Cooper has Hypoplastic Left Heart Syndrome (HLHS), a severe congenital heart defect that will require specialized treatment and a series of surgeries after birth. This type of care requires resources that New Mexico does not have. The Dreslers will sadly have to pack up their home, leaving all their family and friends, to move to the DFW area as soon as possible where Amanda & Cooper will be receiving care at Children's Medical Center in Dallas.

Picking an amount for this fundraising campaign was very difficult as there are so many unknowns with this situation. Our goal is to help with moving costs and living expenses for at least six months. During these 6 months, it is expected that Cooper will have to stay at Dallas Children's to undergo procedures and constant care. The remainder of anything raised will be going to ongoing medical bills for Cooper as they have already started to collect. Unfortunately this will be a lifelong battle requiring an enormous amount of medical care for Cooper involving a team of specialists and therapists.

Whether you can give financially or not, please know that the Dreslers are true believers that covet your prayers—if that's all you are able to give, please know that that is more than enough.
