Hi, my name is Mariamparo Lopez and last year my sister in law came to USA with her husband to visit his son, Edgar Antonio, who lives here. The pandemic happened and they could not go back to their country, Venezuela. At the end of last year, they detected that Migdalia’s breast cancer had reappeared in her lungs, after 6 years of remission. Ours hearts are broken, Migdalia passed away last Tuesday night after battling this terrible disease for several months. We never thought this time would come so soon, but that’s what happened. Everyone who knew our Migdalia knows how special she was. She was always thankful, she was a fighter and generous. More than once, she took the clothes off her back to give it to someone in need. She would always give advise to those who needed it, and would put other people’s needs above her own. Migda, as we lovingly called her, was a woman of faith with a beautiful smile that caught on. Above all, she was a loving mother who raised her children to be the men they are right now. Dear friends and family, we will be eternally grateful with your help in this time of need. Hola, mi nombre es Mariamparo Lopez y el año pasado mi concuñada Migdalia Hernández de López vino con su esposo, mi cuñado, a los EEUU a visitar a su hijo, Edgar Antonio, quien reside aquí. Los atrapó la pandemia y no pudieron regresar a su país de origen, Venezuela. A finales del año pasado detectaron en Migdalia que el cancer del seno había reaparecido en sus pulmones, después de 6 años en remisión. Migdalia falleció este martes en la noche, después de batallar varios meses, contra esta terrible enfermedad. Jamás pensamos que sería tan pronto, pero fue así. Todo el que conoció a nuestra Migdalia sabe lo especial que era, una mujer agradecida, luchadora, generosa. Se quitó en más de una oportunidad el pan de la boca para dárselo a otro que lo necesitaba más que ella. Le gustaba dar consejos y ayudar a todos, siempre ponía la necesidades de otro por encima de las de ella. Migda, como le decíamos de cariño, fue una mujer de mucha fe que tenía una hermosa sonrisa que contagiaba, amó profundamente a sus hijos y los ayudó a ser los hombres que hoy son. Queridos amigos y familia, estaremos eternamente agradecidos con toda la ayuda que nos puedan brindar en estos momentos.
