Hi guys, my name is Miel, I’m a German Shepard mix who was rescued in 2020 from the streets of Cleveland, Texas by my family. On the night of March 10th, around 10pm, I was shot by a powerful pellet riffle by one of our neighbors. The bullet is stuck in my trachea and it’s causing air to leak all around my body. This is called Subcutaneous Emphysema. My family is asking for any donations (doesn’t matter how small) to help save my life.
From the Family
As soon as we noticed something was wrong that night, we took her to the 24/7 Emergency Hospital because her body was starting to get swollen. That’s when the doctors told us she’s been shot. They performed surgery on her to try to extract the bullet, but unfortunately they were unsuccessful after undergoing surgery for almost 2 hours, due to the difficulty to reach the bullet’s location. The doctor suggested us to go to a different hospital where they have the technology (Fluoroscopy) to perform the surgery. We are asking for any kind of help to cover the financial costs to save Miel. Thank you so much !
