Mieke (Riccio) Small was diagnosed with stage IV breast cancer in 2016. After several attempts with chemotherapy, radiation and other treatments, Mieke’s cancer has spread to her brain and bones. 

Mieke is a dedicated wife and mother to two, school age children (15 and 12). 

Mieke has been in and out of the hospital for months and was discharged on May 10 to a skilled nursing facility. Mieke’s health has declined and she requires round the clock nursing care. 

The Small family has exhausted all financial means to pay for medical care and is seeking the support of family, friends, and those passionate about making a difference to a family struggling with a loved one battling cancer.

Monetary gifts will be used for Mieke’s medical care.
