Midnight the One-eyed-Husky's Surgery
Donation protected
Midnight is my fluffy, happy-go-lucky 9 year old Siberian Husky. Midnight and I have been together since 2011 when I rescued him from a bad living situation.
The past 8 years I have had with Midnight have been the best of my so-far-adult life. He has been my main man since I was 23, my comfort and my constant.
In 2012 Midnight had a cataract rupture in his right eye causing him pain and blindness, and at just 2 years old the eye had to be removed. Since then, he has been known to friends and family and the hashtag as #midnighttheoneeyedhusky. Midnight is ridiculously silly and constantly delivering punch-lines with a wink ;).
He was unbelievably resilient through it all and I hope will be again.
In Midnight's older age, he has developed a tumour on his back left leg on the joint. The tumour is causing him pain and will be fairly complicated to remove as it is growing into the joint. After having spent already hundreds of dollars trying to get this thing under control, the vet has determined that it must come off immediately at not small cost of $2200.00 CAD.
My finances right now are not adequate to deal with that sort of vet bill but the situation is dire and it must be remove immediately so as to not spread.
Midnight being only 9, still has lots of pep in his step (so to speak) and I am desperate to get him back to his regular goofy self.
Any donation would be unbelievably appreciated.

Please be warned below is a very very cute picture followed by a very very gross & ugly picture.
