We are a group of volunteer artists, ranging from musical performers to producers to film artists, who aim to create a stunning, artistically rich, and professionally valuable film. As aspiring film directors, producers, cinematographers, and artists, a film on this scale allow us to network alongside organizations such as Warner Bros., FilmLA, multiple film festivals, and other aspiring filmmakers. Soundcheck, a local orange county and Chapman University Acapella Group, will be the film's featured artists. This beautiful adaptation of Coldplay's Midnight will showcase the group's incredible musical capability and talent and help recruitment for the singers for years to come. But most importantly, with messages of finding hope in dark times, Midnight is not only a socially relevant story but a story that must be told.

As a group of artists, we all can relate to the constant struggle to find hope in an ever-darker world. With the pressures of work, social, and personal responsibilities, it is important to remember; you are not alone in your struggle; there is always a light in the darkness. Arranged by Jovanni Ferrer, and performed by Chapman Soundcheck, this is a piece that preaches just that. It's a story with simplistic beauty, poetically repeating, "when I'm rolling with the punches, and hope is gone, leave a light on."
