MiddSkiing for Justice

The Middlebury Nordic Ski Team stands with those who have lost their lives and who continue to suffer due to the systemic racism in this country. In order to do our part in advocating for justice for all, we would like to raise money and awareness for the Black Lives Matter movement.
For the next two months, each of our 17 team members will be dedicating their training hours towards fighting for racial justice. We are asking donors to pledge any amount of money to be donated for every hour that your respective team member trains. At the end of the two months we will donate to total amount raised to the NAACP Legal Defense and Education Fund as well as the National Brotherhood of Skiers. Each of these organizations touches upon something that we feel very passionate about; be it to encourage more inclusion of persons of color into the world of skiing or to educate ourselves and others on the severity and harm of racial inequality.
We thank you for your support as we work towards our training goals as well as our activism goals as a community.
